 Youth and Young Children Services Committee

The committee's goal is to provide a wide spectrum of support to the young children and youth of our community.  We provide hands-on support for projects and provide grants to Benton County non-profit and community organizations serving the needs from birth through college. The members of the Kiwanis Club of Corvallis meet background requirements annually through either the schools, organizations and/or Kiwanis.  

Projects include:

  • The Spring Garden Festival at Corvallis Central Park
  • The Christmas Gift Program for the Children's Farm Home
  • The "Student of the Quarter Award" for Corvallis High School, Crescent Valley High School and College Hill High School. 
  • Corvallis High School and Crescent Valley are quarterly awardees are eligible to receive "The Student of the Year" and a $1000 scholarship to their choice of college.

 

Kiwanis Sponsored Youth Programs

Kiwanis provides support for the Corvallis and Crescent Valley High School Key Clubs so that students can enjoy the benefits of leadership development and community service through membership in Kiwanis.   These organizations below provide youth-related volunteer work and service in the community.

The club sponsors, mentors and financially supports the Corvallis High School Key Club.

The club also sponsors and support the OSU Circle K Club for university affiliation to Kiwanis.
